The i109-WRA is designed for iPhone users who want to use their phones for everything. It utilizes Apple's CarPlay integration, mimicking the iPhone interface on it's 9-inch screen. It does not have a built in CD/DVD player or navigation; if your phone loses signal, you can't "navigate."
The x009-WRA is a fully self contained system with built-in CD/DVD and navigation. It integrates fully with the Wrangler's electronic vehicle information center, tire pressue, temperatures, etc. It does basic cell phone integration through USB or Bluetooth, phone calls, audio track access, track info display, etc.
